Bronte Marsh

Walking paths
outdoor skating
Wildlife

We went to Bronte Marsh in the summer and again the following year in the spring. We walked along the paths on both sides of the river and it's marsh lands. We have spotted geese tending their babies as well as eggs.

The paths are well maintained with mostly wild gardens and wild marshlands feeding into lake Ontario.

In the winter
Bronte Marsh Rink becomes a community rink. The rink is operational weather permitting and depending on ice thickness and quality of ice on the marsh. Is is signed as "safe" or "unsafe."

When we went back in the winter, we found groups and families playing hockey, other families skating up the marsh. Small groups played hockey various places up and down the marsh, leaving room for recreational skaters to skate up and down exploring the wilderness. We even spotted a beaver along the river.
