We have gone camping here, although it has gotten harder to get camping spots here over the years, so book early. Their are lots of people who day trip it, to the beach.
A camp store, has snack items as well as things for campers, but bringing a picnic lunch might be a better option, for day trippers. There are hiking and walking trails, but most people come for the beach.
